DIY Bird Feeders

We are learning how to care for birds in Winter and are taking part in the Big Schools Birdwatch 2024. The children suggested we melt the lard to mix with the birdseed so as it would stick together like glue. 🙂. We did this, spooned it into biodegradable containers and left to harden. We will hang our bird feeders around the outdoor area tomorrow and look for birds throughout the week. We will record our findings using a tally chart. 🙂
