In nursery we incorporate into our planning a variety of group games to teach the throughout the year. 👍Evidence suggests that consistent group games and activities help children to develop key social skills, including when to assert themselves and when it is appropriate to take a step back as well as helping them to improve their mood, ability to emotionally regulate, ability to concentrate on tasks and become physical fitter 😀. This week we learned how to play ‘Musical Chairs’ 😀. Try it with the family at home 🏡. Substitute chairs for cushions if necessary 😉
